A masterpiece of silver bowl

- attributed Florenz, italy

Empire-style silver bowl with a half-round silhouette, raised on a foot, and accompanied by a loose lid. A substantial pine cone-shaped knob crowns the lid. The bowl's sides are adorned with solid cast ram's heads.

Delicate, finely engraved ribbing graces the smooth silver surfaces of both the bowl and lid. The bowl's base bears Italian silver hallmarks, including a diamond-shaped mark with the numbers 176 and F1 (likely indicating the silversmith and the city of Florence), and two smaller marks. An oval mark with the number 800 is also present.

Estimated to be from the early 20th century, this piece is the work of a skilled master silversmith.  A rare find!
